Description Of Work: Replaced Air Conditioner installed in 2011

Member Comments: Darrell at Alternative Heating & Air installed an Air Conditioner & Furnace (Lennox) in the fall of 2011. When out for the annual early spring maintenance this spring (2013) it was determined that the Air Conditioner compressor was not functioning and the unit had at some point run out of coolant. The only solution was that the entire unit would need to be replaced. Darrell immediately had his technician (Jeremy) go over the entire system to determine what may have caused this issue. Jeremy after the extensive inspection determined what appeared to be an issue going back to the original install and immediately let Darrell know what he found. Darrell without hesitation decided that the unit would be replaced at no cost to me. I am very impressed with the way this entire situation was handled and the fact Alternative stood by their work. I do not believe this would have been handled by one of the larger companies in this same manor without some type of confrontation. I highly recommend Darrell and his folks to anybody wanting to have any HVAC work done. Choosing Alternative for my HVAC solution was one of the best decisions I have ever made. At first they didn't think they could get it all done in one day. But by 5:00 everything was completed. My new system is working great and the customer service is amazing.
